How to play
Drop her into a stream of opponent's customers heading to their truck. Each loot = 30% reduction.
Slow shuffler. Easy to delay if recognized in time.
Flavor
Plump elderly grandmother, silver bun under maroon beanie, pink chunky-knit scarf, floral apron. Looks innocent but is a kleptomaniac — engages opponent's customers, steals their money, then forgets about it (the money is lost, not gained).
"What money, dear? I never saw any money."
Backstory
The Granny Grifter, real name Edna Marlowe, was banned from seven Atlantic City casinos between 1998 and 2004 for what the official paperwork called "playful misappropriation." She emigrated, briefly, to Lisbon. The Foodogeki Corporation found her in 2026 when she'd been quietly working as a knitting-shop owner who somehow always had more cash in her till than her receipts could explain. She agreed to be a card on one condition: nobody mentions the casinos. The Federation agreed. Then the Federation's lore team wrote it into her backstory. Edna has not spoken to the lore team since.
