What this role does

Spells are the fastest cards in Foodogeki — they cast instantly and resolve in the moment, with no walking, no targeting cycle. Chilli Charge buffs your push. Deep Freeze cancels theirs. Zapotle resets opponent target acquisition. Fruit Punch clears swarms. Gum Slinger is technically a heavy-ranged-AoE Troop, but it lives near the spell category for tactical reasons. The skill of using spells is timing — a Deep Freeze cast 0.3 seconds early is wasted Buzz; a Deep Freeze cast at the moment your opponent commits a Chilli Charge can flip a match.
